Fundraising for Maggie's Centres
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you know, my lovely Mum passed away last year from late stage ovarian cancer. During the last few painful months of her life, we discovered Maggie's Centre. They provided much-needed emotional support for Mum, that simply hadn't been available through the health service. I was able to accompany Mum on the few occasions she visited Maggie's and each time we were greeted by genuinely kind and compassionate staff. They were wonderful, during what was an incredibly difficult time.
I have also had to cope with breast cancer myself this year, so I am even more passionate about doing as much as I can to help this very special cause and the wonderful staff at Maggie's.
