Story
Hi Folks,
I'm running The New York Marathon again this year and have decided to Run in memory of my Great Uncle Harry who was a war veteran and spent some time in Erskine Hospital after WW2. He unfortunately lost both his legs during this war. He was cared for by his Nurse Josephine who he went on to marry and have 4 children.......
Erskine gave him a second chance at life. :)
I just thought it would be fitting for me to run for this wonderful charity who help so many servicemen and women. Especially at this time when so many of our heros are coming home with horrendous injuries from conflicts around the world and depend on places such as Erskine Hospital to help them lead as normal a life as possible.
