Story
As you will know I have suffered with Eczema since I was a few months old, and since I was 1year old we have been supported by the Dermatology department at Bristol Royal Children's Hospital. The team at BRCH have trial many different treatments, but we haven't found one yet that's helped control my eczema for longer than a few weeks.
In February this year mummy was told about the Eczema Outreach Support charit, who help children of all ages and their families in understanding the Eczema, treatments and also giving emotional support to parents. The EOS send every child who join the charity a welcome pack which gives lots of information for both adults and children (age appropriate), within my pack they also gave me an interactive treatment tracker, a gel heat pack, fidgit toy and a story book to help explain eczema in a child friendly manner. They also will provide support to my new school if we feel it's needed.
As a thank you for the pack, I am taking part in the Walk 5 fundraiser so another child like myself will be able to receive the welcome pack. For the fundraiser I am going to be walking 25,000 steps every week during May, supported by mummy who is going to aim for at least 50,000 a week.
