Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Declining numbers of bees over recent years, have led to a need to protect bees, essential for pollinating crops, and the health of our countryside. So to support the protection of the hardworking little bees, £2.50 from the sale of each Flutterby needlecase kit is being donated to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

Proceeds from each kit will support conservation projects such as the re-introduction of the short-haired bumblebee to Kent and making nectar rich meadows to feed the bees.

So please dig deep and donate.

About the charity

Bumblebees are in decline because of a loss of their habitats. Our landscape is changing, over 97% of the UK's grasslands have been lost in the past 70 years. We work to put much needed flowers back into the countryside to benefit our bumblebees and other wildlife.
