Special Olympics Ireland want individuals, corporates & social groups to support them by taking part in their in-person Polar Plunge on December 4th in Sandycove or their virtual campaign running from the 10th-12th. Proudly supported by Gala Retail

Story

I am taking the plunge for Special Olympics Ireland this year as part of thier Polar Plunge Campaign, supported by Gala Retail, to help raise vital funds to support the work of Special Olympics Ireland and its athletes! With our help, almost 8,000 women, men and children with an intellectual disability across the island of Ireland will stay connected, fit and healthy through virtual competitions, challenges and activities. Supporting the Polar Plunge will help Special Olympics Ireland to continue to provide meaningful and worthwhile virtual programmes to their athletes and help plan for the reintroduction of contact training and competition safely in 2022. Special Olympics athletes will meet their friends again. They will train and compete again. They will show the world what they can do again!
