Story
After losing two close friends this year , it has raised many questions at home about illness, mortality and what we can do to help. Joseph has decided he really wants to do 'his bit' to raise money to help other people so that their lives might be saved. On Sat 2nd August he has decided to do a mini triathlon, consisting of a 20 length swim, a 3 mile bike ride (all uphill !!) followed by a 1 mile run.
He is raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of his Grandad, Den Harwood, who also lost his life at the very young age of 47. Joseph is very much like Den in looks , personality and a fierce left foot on the football pitch and although he never met Den, he has always asked a great deal about him. We would all be so grateful of any support you feel you could offer.
