All the money raised from my SkyDive will go to the Somerset Emergency Volunteers, who, well just came about from working helping throughout the flood effort. A band of amazing individuals who give up their free time to help others. An entity in its own right, now working hard to repair the damage caused in the Somerset floods.

9 weeks have now passed, 
and the water is gone, 
But the hard work continues,
We volunteer on,
Clearing sopping wet carpets,
You'd think they'd be dry
Donning gloves, and white suits,
I hurt when you cry,
I hate that these villagers,
Lives have been wrecked
Their homes ruined by water,
No help from the elect, 
From the very beginning,
They shuddered away,
While the desperate residence,
Their homes they did pay,
The water just rose,
With no shadow of doubt,
To save other houses,
The towns and abouts,
Questions need to be answered,
As to what went so wrong,
Until that time comes,
We all solider on.

Having spent 10 weeks so far, first volunteering in 5ft flood water, helping keep houses dry, delivering food, keeping volunteers fed with supplies, and working in Fordgate & Moorland in the flood recovery, from emptying stinking fridges, clearing gardens, emptying houses of their possessions & and working to start the rebuild.

 I have become so close with the local residents they are part of my extended family, and we help our family don't we?? So dig deep, you can visit me in hospital afterwards and bring me grapes.

 Just remember you all have your belongings at home, in fact you all have lovely dry homes so what have you got to argue about! Love you all now dig deep xxx
