Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am raising money for Scotty's Little Soldiers, they have really helped my dear friend Angela's children to deal with the grief of losing their father whilst serving in Afghanistan.  Below is just a snippet of how they help her and other people in her situation.

Scotty’s little soldiers has had such an impact on us as a family. Scotty’s is a continuous support, not just a one off or once a year thing. It supports the children with information and activities, holidays, educational support and gifts at special times but most importantly the emotional and well being support they offer is priceless and it’s the only place that offers this specifically for children in our circumstances. Scotty’s has given us a bit of military community back, where we can be amongst others in the same situation who get exactly how it feels. Both Cameron and Erin have benefitted and grown in confidence through events setup by scotty’s and made many friends who feel the same loss they do. The new memories that scotty’s has helped us make are priceless and to see your child smile again even on difficult days just because of a small gesture from the charity is such a lovely thing to see. Erin said once “I thought it was wrong to laugh and be happy at parties or certain times of year until I joined scotty’s and saw all the other children enjoying themselves”.
Nikki Scott is an amazing lady who has done amazing things for our children and she does not only her husband proud but all of our hero’s.
