Hi Everyone

My husband, Ste and I are participating in the Perkins Great Eastern Run on Sunday 12 October 2014. This will be our first ever half marathon, in fact our first run of any kind! We will be raising money for the Rheumatoid Arthritis Charity (NRAS) in memory of my beautiful sister who sadly passed away very suddenly in July last year in circumstances related to this condition. Gilly suffered with this painful condition for many years but always had a smile on her face through all her pain, a truly beautiful person inside and out and an inspiration to us all. I am sure on the day of the run Gilly will be looking down at us and laughing at the state of Ste and I. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go to help others with condition.
