Michael was cared for by Jo from the Marie Curie nursing team in the last nights of his life. She enabled Michael's wish to remain at home with his family until he passed away peacefully on the 16th September 2010.

This would have been difficult for us as a family to do without her dedicated help and support. This is our way of saying thank you.

But, most importantly we would like to raise much needed funds to help the Marie Curie nursing teams and all those that support them to continue with their invaluable work.

£180 pays for a full nine hour shift by a Marie Curie nurse in a patient's home.
