A few years ago my little boy, Cameron became seriously ill, we are very lucky to have him with us today. Following his recovery we discovered he has an uncommon life threatening illness that cannot be cured, luckily there is a treatment thats assists him to lead a healthy life, Cameron receives this treatment every week and will do so for the rest of his life. The beginning of his diagnosis and treatment was very distressing for Cameron, and for his bravery his specialist nurse at Manchester Royal Children's Hospital nominated Cameron to this amazing charity, ChildFlight, a charity that takes sick and deserving children on a once in a life time holiday to Disney World Florida. This wasn't just a holiday for us, we had the opportunity to meet other families who have similar experiences to us. We gained a support network and for the first time Cameron was able to talk about his treatment, which is a big part of his life, to children that actually understood. This is something I will be eternally grateful for.

Each and every volunteer at ChildFlight are AMAZING, they make a wonderful experience even more magical for the people that need it most. Whats more important than 'that' look on those faces.

I am very excited for the chance to raise money with the aim to give another family just like us the same opportunity we had.
