I've joined Pirates Vs. Cancer because if I can't take cancer away from the kids, I want to be able to walk with them through it and show them they are not alone! After all, for me, its only hair- hair that will grow back.  For the kids, its a life-altering prognosis that demands so much from them. I'm inspired by the children bravely fighting cancer right here in our local communities and want to help in any way I can. By raising money with this fundraising page, I am directly contributing to the amazing work being done at James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital and improving the treatments and quality of life of kids battling cancer there.
