The Davis Family will be attempting a sporting challenge to raise money in memory of Sarah Gostick, a good friend and mother of 4 who died earlier this year.  On the weekend of 30th August 2014 we will be aiming to cover over 400km between us by biking, swimming, running and rowing.  Alec and Hannah are aiming to run 3km and swim 1km each.  Oliver is planning to cycle 100km, Helen is planning to run 42km (2 x half marathons in two days) and swim 8km and Rob is aiming to cycle 200km, run 42km, row 20km and swim 8km (which is just about 2 x long-distance quadrathlons).  The route will start near Newbury, where Sarah grew up, and travel up to her student home in Coventry and Leamington before finishing in her family home at Great Gransden.

Our chosen charity is Watoto - a charity close to Sarah's heart.  Sarah's aim was to raise enough money to build an Orphanage in Uganda.  Sadly this was not to be and her family and friends are aiming to complete her wish of raising the necessary funds.  We would like to help contribute the their target of £25,000 to complete Sarah's Wish.
