Welcome to our London marathon team page! This year we would like to raise £15,000, which will fund the care of a bed in our inpatient unit for one month.

Story

So if you know me, you know that every year I do a half marathon and then take a week to recover after and moan a lot about it. Well next year I am going to take things a step further and take part in an event I have always dreamed of doing.

The wonderful people at Cynthia Spencer Hospice have allowed me to run and fundraise for them at the London Marathon 2019. Cynthia Spencer Hospice took great care of my mother in law Gill Johns in the last few weeks of her life and at the same time, looked after my wife and her family. There a no words for how they help people at what can be such a hard time of their lives. But hospices need help with their funding to maintain their good work. So if you could spare a few pounds to help me raise as much money as possible for them, I would be very appreciative.

I will try and update you with my training and fundraising progress as I go on. Back on the diet and back to the gym for me.
