Blindfold Challenge at 10 parkrun Events · 16 April 2022

Help us celebrate our 102 Birthday! Its a challenging year (minor understatement) and wed like you to help us see it off in a positive way! Create a challenge and incorporate the no. 102 or host a virtual event (Halloween Party?). Share w/ friends!

Story

It is not the return of Zorro or the next episode of ‘50 Shades’, but the latest installment in the David’s Guide chapter of fundraising events in support of visually impaired athletes.

This time we are raising funds for the Dorset Blind Association and the challenge will be for me Cliffe Tribe, a fully sighted individual, to run blindfolded with experienced VI guide John Baker at 10 different parkrun venues across the south. Supported by David Edwards and Julie

Starting in my home town of Poole on April 30, 2022 (which coincidentally will be my 50th parkrun) through other courses such as Moors Valley on May 21, 2022 (John's 100th parkrun) and finishing with a big party run on July 2, 2022 at Kings Park Bournemouth.
