Story
I met Bailey Meola on the 11th March 2015, on the island of Koh Phi Phi in Thailand. We connected on many levels instantly, and after she made me, as she put it, her 'temporary travelling boyfriend', we spent 12 beautiful days together travelling to Koh Lanta, Phuket and ended our trip in the amazing city of Singapore. I had the best time of my life with Bailey, and created memories with her that I will cherish in my heart for the rest of my life.
Bailey was fearless, and made sure every day was an adventure. I've never met someone with such lust for life. She encapsulated everyone she met with her adventurous spirit, charisma, beautiful smile and intelligence.
While hiking in the Langtang Valley in Nepal on the 25th April 2015, an earthquake struck the area, and sadly Bailey passed away along with one of her closest friends Sydney Schumacher.
I'm going to be completing the same trek Bailey did and also see the destruction first hand, but also the same beautiful landscapes she saw, and visiting the memorial wall that is now in place.
All the money raised will be used to make a donation to the Red Cross' Nepal Earthquake Appeal in Bailey Meola's name. There are many people who have survived this tragedy despite losing friends and family, but continue to suffer due to lack of food and shelter. We must help them, so please donate as much as you can. It's going to an amazing cause, and I believe Bailey will be thanking each and everyone of you for every penny you can spare.
