Why Me? 95-95 Challenge, 24 August 2022
Why me? wants to help people overcome trauma they have experienced after being harmed by crime. Our Sponsored Challenge is aiming to raise £2,000, which could allow us to deliver comprehensive Restorative Justice to more victims of crime.

Story

I am fundraising for Why me?, by taking part in their 95:95 Challenge this September. We are travelling a distance of 95 miles to raise awareness for the 95% of victims of crime who are not told about their entitlement to Restorative Justice. I need your support! As a small charity, Why me? are grateful for any donations you can make so we can continue to deliver Restorative Justice and transform lives. What is Restorative Justice? Many victims of crime feel sidelined by the criminal justice process. Restorative Justice gives them the chance to ask questions about the incident, explain the impact that it had on them, and have a say in how the harm can be repaired. This restorative dialogue transforms lives by helping people affected by crime to recover, and helping people who commit crime to stop. Restorative Justice is a proven way to address trauma from crime and reduce re-offending and Why me? are the leading Restorative Justice organisation in England and Wales.
