The Transaid concept is similar to the idea of either giving a man a fish, or giving him a fishing pole.  By developing better transportation, everyone in the region can benefit from the efficiency that results.  Goods become available when they once weren't. Healthcare can be delivered where it is needed. It is a long-term vision that is already showing results.
