Story
The Big Walk has been a huge part of my life so many years. This year I finally get the chance to take part myself after handing over the event.

On Friday 24th June, I will be run/walking over 50kms (31+miles) climbing 1455m through the Peak District, (that’s like climbing the Arts Tower more than 18 times). Beginning at Hope, navigating the tallest peak at Mam Tor, taking on the summit of Win Hill, braving the muddy paths near Ladybower, and battling the sea of heather at Bamford Edge, before returning to the University Arms for a much needed stout or two!
Please support me in raising money for the terrific Genetic Disease Research taking place at the University of Sheffield. In the UK alone, 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one. By making a gift today you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.
Speaking first-hand to Blair and Dustin about their son Brooks brought home to me just how important it is that we can try and do all we can to find cures and treatments for genetic diseases. Read their story.

Every donation you make will help to propel me to the finish!
Thank you
