Myself and Lucie are participating in the Great Manchester Run 2022 for The Rossendale Trust and it's WorkTaste project. I am once again honoured to support Lucie around the streets of Manchester. This will be the fourth time Lucie has taken part and it is a real privilege to push her in her wheel chair around the course. Lucie loves to hear the crowds cheering her on, as do I, and she loves feeling the wind through her hair as I pick up the pace! She even enjoys the showers that we run through part way around the course.

Having a learning disability is not a barrier to opportunity and this is something I see every day in my work at the Rossendale Trust. Helping Lucie to accomplish her goal and watch her receive her medal on race day is a moment I will cherish.
