Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m not the most athletic of people due to my partiality to chocolate, biscuits and cake with the occasional tipple of alcohol which is taking its toll on a body that is allegedly reaching middle age.

This year I have decided I will cycle for charity and have been accepted on the daunting task of cycling from Manchester to Blackpool to support the wonderful work at The Christie Hospital in Manchester.  The Christie has done fabulous work in supporting friends who have suffered and some still suffering from cancer and are world renowned for research into this life changing disease.

If you could find a few pennies spare to sponsor me for the event and I will think of you all when I‘m pedalling the 60 miles to the coast. 

If you are at a loose end on Sunday 10^th July 2011 and are in the North West of England, please feel free to come down and heckle, cheer, abuse, mock or support and your presence would be appreciated.
