By the end of 2008 there will be an estimated 2 million people in the UK who will be living with a cancer diagnosis. Each one of those, and their families, will need help with the physical and emotional effects of cancer. For my family, we had Macmillan Cancer Support to help us. I'd like to say thank you. And, to pay a little bit back so other families can continue to benefit from their support, too. So, to that end, I'm running in the New York Marathon on November 2nd to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. I'll also be completing my goal of running all five marathon majors over a two year period (Chicago, London, Berlin, Boston and New York). I'd be delighted if you would be able to sponsor me. Your support will inspire me on to the finishing line. Hey, I might even stretch this time!
