This will be my first marathon and it's been quite the journey to get here!  I’ve been training for this on and off for THREE YEARS and am really keen to get it in the bag before I turn 40 in November and can retire with a pipe and slippers!

Mencap do incredible work supporting people with learning disabilities and their families, giving learning-disabled people opportunities and the chance to enjoy a fulfilling life that they would not otherwise have.

As many of you will know, I originally signed up for this with Glenn, as half of team ‘Davo and Glenno run the London Marathon’ in October 2019.  Since then Glenn was diagnosed with and bravely fought and beat cancer; he is hoping to run it in 2023.

A massive THANK YOU to those of you that donated previously, we haven't forgotten you and can assure you that those donations have been received by Mencap.  The Virgin Money platform has now closed, so I have started again with this JustGiving page.
