Story

Thanks to the following who have sponsored me offline: Some people have given to more than one charity

Peter and Diane Hayes £10

Andrew Robinson - £13

Simon Furness - £5

Bohdan Rainzuk - £10

Thanks to everyone who sponsored me in the Great North Run this year. Luckily I managed to just about beat last year's time - by about a minute and a half, finishing in an official 'chip time' of 2:12:41 (last year's time was 2:14:03).

My official race position is 17939 - you can see for yourself by going to http://secure.greatrun.org/results/quickresults.php and entering 7261 in race number field. This puts me just outside the top third of all runners in the GNR!

While we were staying in London during Aidan's stay in Intensive Care/High Dependancy we were able to stay in a flat in Camberwell, provided by the Rhys Daniels Trust. They have a number of flats in London, Birmingham and other cities that are available for the use of families whose children and babies are in local hospitals.

http://www.rhysdanielstrust.org has more information about this charity, whose flat was invaluable to us earlier in the year.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rhys Daniels Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
