Story

As  many of you know I have run the Flora London Marathon 2008 for an extremely worthwhile charity, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Please support me generously by following the links on this page.

The weather was very mixed with brilliant sunshine and pouring rain. It was all going well to half way at 1.49 but old age and lack of big mileage crept in and I crawled in at 4.08. Still another medal in the draw and 4200 calories burnt off which is the equivalent of 21 pints of guiness, not that I feel like having them quite yet. Thanks very much to everyone who has sponsored me in advance and to those awaiting the event taking place, this website is open for another 2 months.

Thanks again for your support and generosity

Help me, to help CRY, to help the young

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
