Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 25th September 2011 I ran the 38th Annual Berlin Marathon. I recorded a time of 3 hours and 35 minutes and at last count we had raised just over £1,500 for Naomi House. Below is a thank you note from the staff at the Hospice.
“We are so grateful for all the hard work David has put in to complete the Berlin Marathon and how he has managed to raise such a large amount of money on behalf of the hospice. It really will make all the difference to the charity, allowing us to continue providing vital support to life limited children and their families. We couldn’t continue doing what we do without the generosity of the public and we thank them for their support wholeheartedly”.
Naomi House Children's Hospice is a fantastic charity that relies on donations from the public to make up 90% of the 5 million pounds it costs to keep the hospice running each year.
Naomi House provide respite care, end of life care and bereavement support for children and families throughout southern England. Support through good days, difficult days and last days.
Please give generously because the lives of very ill children and their families are made that much more bearable with the care that this charity provides.
Many Thanks,
David
