Event: Virgin London Marathon 2010, on 25 April 2010

Story

As most of you are aware I was due to enter the 2009 London Marathon and after training for 4 months and enduring training runs of up to 17 miles I had to pull out due to injury.

Putney Samaritans have kindly offered me a place for the 2010 London Marathon and I have been slowly building up my fitness again (still scared of the weighing scales though).  I have recently managed runs up to 11 miles and I am due to run in a half marathon race on 7th February 2010, so a really good test.

I have been asked to raise a significant amount for the Samaritans and would be grateful if anyone could dig deep and sponsor me.

I also take this opportunity to thank everyone who pledged (donated) there support last year and apologise for letting you down - believe me, watching the race and my friends running was awful and I am determined more than ever to complete it.

Thanks for taking the time to read/pledge

Dave
