In memory of David Cobham
We fund projects to give our patients even better care

Story

This is fundraising for the International Emmy and BAFTA Award winning producer, director, and author David Cobham, who died in Norfolk on 25th March 2018. He directed the BBC’s first ever wildlife film, ‘Vanishing Hedgerows’, the critically acclaimed ‘Tarka the Otter’ and the beloved children’s series ‘Woof!’

David Cobham was a founding member of the Hawk and Owl Trust and the Groucho Club, opened the bowling for Yorkshire County Cricket Club with Fred Truman, introduced Sylvia Plath to Ted Hughes at Cambridge University and was an inspiration to many in conservation, film-making and living life to its fullest.
