Story
Hi Everyone
On the 25 May 2014 I will be supporting my wife Natalie and running 10k for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
For those of you who don’t know, Natalie’s Grandmother lost her fight with breast cancer on the 3 January this year after a 4 year battle. We both wanted to show our support for this fantastic cause which has taken a pioneering approach to breast cancer research.
They look for opportunities where the potential for real impact is the highest, and they fund them quickly and efficiently. No other breast cancer charity offers this agility and responsiveness, and no other breast cancer research charity has this single-minded focus.
I have been at Natalie’s side throughout this journey and am running this 10k with her in memory of a woman who I considered to be truly remarkable. I have pledged to raise £250 and anything you can donate would be hugely appreciated; even if you have not been directly affected by breast cancer you will almost certainly know someone who has. Even a small donation will help to enable the charity to fund further research and carry on making a real difference to people’s lives.
Many thanks for your support
David
