Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

I'll be running(!) the BUPA Great North Run on the 5th October this year - 13.1miles of hilly Newcastle and 2 hours (though probably more) of hell.

As it's a quite a big event it would be a wasted opportunity to just run it and then go home in a silver blanket so I'm raising some cash for the RNLI. 

I've chosen the RNLI because Jackie's brother, Tony Clark, is now a member of the Fleetwood Lifeboat crew and I know what sort of jobs they get called on and how hard they work to raise funds.  You can read about them here www.fleetwood-lifeboat.org and you can see Tony in all his orange finery by clicking on the crew link.
