10Ks, marathons and trail runs are great, but Total Warrior steps this challenge up a notch. Running in a 10K can be testing but imagine being faced with 8ft walls, swamps, tunnels and fire – suddenly the old school 10K sounds fairly easy and, dare we say, a little boring! We are getting prepared for steep hills, mud, water, fire and maybe even ice as we are put through the specially designed gruelling course. Not everyone will finish, but those who do (myself included, obviously) will be greeted with a victory beer…and maybe even a hose pipe to clean up, if we're lucky!

Well, it's for a good cause - Francis House, who provide care for children and young adults with life limiting conditions, as well as offering support and friendship to the whole family.
