In December 2011, Dave was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He was treated with intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and various drugs in his battle to beat the disease. Despite the prognosis, he maintained a positive demeanour throughout and was eager to be part of trialling new cancer treatments.

Sadly, on Wednesday 5th August 2015, Dave passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.  

His hope and determination can be a comfort to us all, and an inspiration to always keep fighting.
