I was offered a last minute place on this years NYC marathon by a charity I believe in and one that may one day support someone close to you.

I could not refuse, despite swearing I'd never do one again! So please dig deep and sponsor me online and support the Hospice organisations across the UK...  I have been asked to fill a gap and to raise £1000 as the original runner has pulled out.

I know from personal experience the value of the Hospice network,  yet unbelievably, Hospices in the UK receive no Government funding.  The service they offer to terminally ill patients is invaluable to both patients and their families.
