Walk 60 Miles in November · 1 November 2024 to 30 November 2024 ·

Help us create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer by taking on our Walk 60 Miles in November challenge.

Story

I have recently been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer, it has spread to my lymphatic system, pelvis, spine and lungs. I am undergoing palliative treatment and so far have had radiotherapy on my lumbar L3-5 and started monthly hormone therapy. Last week saw the first of 6 Chemotherapy sessions over 18 weeks and additional daily hormone therapy.

I normally walk 4 or 5 miles daily but I expect November to be particularly challenging as the sessions of chemotherapy and the associated fatigue builds.

So I have joined the PCR November challenge to walk 60 miles in the month. I’m doing this to push myself (I’m still hoping to do 120+ miles) and to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research, no other man should go through what I am.

So I’m asking you to donate to this worthwhile cause and support me in doing this challenge.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡
