Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Event distance = 7.2mile swim - 336mile cycle - 78.6mile run

Cut off time 60hrs - New Forest - 9th June 2011

This is the second time I have raised money for BLESMA. I still fail to understand how the men and women from our services manage to cope with injuries sustained during operations. My time serving in the forces enabled me to vist Headley Court on many occasions so know all to well the hard work which goes into the recovery processes by both staff the casualty and the agencies such as BLESMA.

BLESMA is such a worthwhile cause, most people are unaware that everytime we hear of a fatality on operations due to roadside bombs and such devices their are other soldiers who are more fortunate but still have to deal with missing limbs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
