I am tackling my first ever half marathon to raise money for Alzheimer's Society to hopefully help find a cure for this devastating illness.  Having lost two grandparents to this terrible illness, I know first hand how tough this illness is not only on the person suffering but their family and friends.  By supporting my challenge you will be helping fund research into better treatments and cures but also providing vital care and support to families living with this disease.  This is going to be a challenge for me as although I'm a keen runner I very rarely run further than 10k.  Thank you for your support....it really is much appreciated
