Motor Neurone Disease kills 5 people every day in the UK and leaves people unable to walk, talk or feed themselves. The average life expectancy is between 2 and 5 years.  The Motor Neurone Disease Association, the corporate charity for the Midlands Co-operative Society for 2010, provides care and support to those with MND and their carers.  They fund research into the cause, treatments and a cure for MND and rely on voluntary donations.
