Competitors and press from all over the world are warming up to join in the fun on Sunday 24th April at the 2022 Maldon Mud Race, Promenade Park.

I've always wanted to take part in this mad 400 metre dash across the river Blackwater in Essex at low tide and after many postponements we finally get our chance.

Team DC Marvel Mud Muckers, Batman & Robin, The Joker and Wonder Woman will try and use all our Superhero Powers to fly, run, walk or crawl to the finish line and in doing so as a collective raise as much sponsorship as possible, all proceeds going to local charities including hospices and support for carers on behalf of The Maldon Mud Race.
