I am taking part in this 5 day trek through the Rila and Pirin mountains to raise funds for The Trussell Trust, a charity which supports vulnerable young people and hopes to help stamp out poverty in Bulgaria.

A family friend lived in Bulgaria for a year and on her return to the UK she started supporting The Trussell Trust. Last  year she took part in the trek and helped raise £15000. She has challenged me this year to take part and help beat that total.
