Hello everyone,

I am participating in the Liverpool Half Marathon on the 27th of March 2011. I have decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK because I believe it is a very worth while cause as the disease affects many people and consiquently their family and friends.

I personally have experienced the effects of this disease as 2 years ago my father was diagnosed with Cancer, fortunately after receiving treatment he is hopefully well on his way to a full recovery. This experience has made me realise how important research into Cancer is and I hope that you will help me in raising money for this charity.
