Story
Two of my best friends have been directly affected by lymphoma-based cancers. One of them has recovered from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma whilst another one is currently battling with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
Covid has decimated the UK's charity scene and fundraising has become increasingly difficult during Lockdown or when people's incomes have been adversely affected by Coronavirus.
That's why I really want to help Lymphoma Action. So next September, I've decided to cycle from London to Paris - a distance of around 325 miles or 520km - in order to raise money for this organisation.
Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. They’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma.
Their work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma. They’re here for everyone affected by lymphoma. https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/
