For the 4th time I am punishing myself with the Silverstone Half Marathon. This time I have been training but still feel it could be a long old slog, so your support and donations would be fantastic motivation for me. Any small donation is greatly appreciated.

This time I am running for Cancer Research UK in memory of John Hall who sadly passed away last year after losing his fight with pancreatic cancer. He was a fantastic man and had that year become a Grandad and also a great Uncle to mine and Catharine's daughter, Emily.

Cancer is a horrible thing but odds are one day we will find a cure. Let's try and speed up that process by giving Cancer Research all the funding we can.
