London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Story

This October I am running the London marathon to raise money for the Addenbrooke’s charitable trust. Earlier this year I lost my father in law, John. He was a great man who had many challenges in the last few years but one of the constants that he had was the quality of care given to him by Addenbrooke’s hospital across many departments including prosthetics, the oncology unit, kidney specialists, phlebotomy, physiotherapy and the amputee gym. Thanks to money raised for the Addenbrooke’s charitable trust, Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals can provide a level of patient care beyond that which can be delivered by NHS funding alone and make projects happen sooner or to a greater degree than might have otherwise been possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
