November 2016 I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  Unless that bus hits me, the cancer will be what kills me. I've already outlived most of those diagnosed with lung cancer at the same time as me.  Did I smoke? No.

The amount spent on lung cancer research is disproportionately small compared to the amount spent on other cancer research.  Any contribution you feel able to make is appreciated.  Your money will make a difference.

I can't run a marathon.  Or walk any great distance.  The cancer has eroded my hips and pelvis.  But while I still can I will blog about my experiences.

On diagnosis I quit work and vowed to travel.  That's a little tougher a year or so down the line.  But I made it to Chile, Easter Island, New England and the USA South Wesr as well as beautiful Slovenia and other parts of Europe while I had the chance.

I'm not expecting to raise a fortune.  But I'd like to think my death will help others in future.  Maybe my kids and nephews.  Maybe somebody close to you.
