Story

I am taking part in a Trek to help raise awareness and funds for people living with mental illness who need help. You can follow how I am doing on Facebook over this month and donate to push me to complete the 14 day trek. Rethink Mental Illness helps improve the lives of people severely affected by mental illness through their network of local groups and services, expert information and successful campaigning. Their goal is to make sure everyone affected by severe mental illness has a good quality of life. Raising awareness for mental health means a lot to me. I have struggled with my own mental health for most of my adult life and have had good friends who have suffered and unfortunately, as a result, have taken their own lives. Please feel free to donate or simply talk to a friend about mental health to raise awareness and provide the support that many people need!
