Story

One Climb Too Many!

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love cycling and how much I love a good challenge. So this summer I will be attempting a truly horrendous task! I am going to be taking part in three bike rides over three consecutive weekends in May.

I will be taking part in:

The Classic Manc on 01.05.2022 which is 100 miles,

The Fred Whitton on 08.05.2022 which is 113 miles and finally (Phewww!)

The Etape Du Dales on 15.05.2022 which is 110 miles

Altogether I will endure 323 miles and over 33000 feet of climbing over the three weekends.

I have decided to call this challenge ‘One Climb Too Many’ and I am doing this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The reason I have chosen this charity is because Macmillan have been amazing with my Mum, who has recently been diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer, which is rare in women.

Macmillan Cancer Support provide physical, emotional and financial help for patients suffering with cancer. I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few pence or even some pounds for the fantastic support and care that Macmillan provide.

This really is such a good cause and a huge challenge, so please dig deep and help me get over ‘One Climb Too Many’
