On Thursday 6 December, I'm running in the Mayor's Santa in the City Charity Fun Run, to raise money for First Love Foundation, aka Tower Hamlet's Food Bank.

Since 2010, First Love Foundation has helped thousands of people in Tower Hamlets (London's East End), which according to statistics is more deprived than 99% of all other boroughs in England, and has the highest child poverty rate in London.

I work for Gateway Housing in Mile End, and we've chosen First Love Foundation has our charity of the year, and I am proud to be supporting their important work, by running across Tower Bridge - in miserable weather - dressed in a Santa suit.
