Story

DRS are taking part in Race The Thames Virtual 2022 - join us to bust the winter blues!

Our team members are: Alex Cihlar, David Sargen, David Merry, Gabriel McArdle, Jonathan Martin, Nadia Malone, Ralitza Shiderova and Victoria Martin.

Race The Thames is the annual fundraising event run by London Youth Rowing (LYR). The money raised will be used to help support LYR's work in London and Leeds. LYR's programmes allow young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in rowing, giving them the benefit of participating in the sport and allowing them to fulfil their potential. The gallery below shows the impact LYR's work has for young people.

We will also be supporting First Love Foundation, with 25% of the total funds raised to go to the work that they do in supporting families in crisis, and Centre70, with 25% of the remaining funds raised to go to their work of providing legal advice and support to people in need.

Thank you!
