Hello, my name is WO2 David Roche. I am a serving Army Reservist
with 7 Rifles. My present posting is at Oxford OTC.

In April 2019, I have been given the opportunity to raise
money by partaking (and god willing completing) the London Marathon.

My family have a wealth of military experience. My Father
served with the RAF and my brother with the Royal Navy. My Grandfather served
with the Ox & Bucks and saw action in the Somme. My Father-in-Law also saw his
National service with the same regiment.

I grew up listening to amazing stories from 2 of my Uncles,
Roy & Bill Buckingham. Roy saw his military career with the Royal Artillery,
whilst Bill served with both the Ox & Bucks and Military Police, before later
in life becoming Lord Mayor of Oxford.

Sadly, none of these great gentlemen are no longer here,
however their commitment and passion for serving in the Armed Forces has been
inherited by myself.

Therefore, it is with great honour that I have been
selected by the Royal British Legion, to raise money for their Charity.

Can I please ask that you ‘Dig Deep’ and help me raise as
much money as we can to support such a worthwhile cause.
