Well, 4 of us we had originally signed up for the British Heart Foundation Manchester to Blackpool night ride, due to take place on Saturday 19 September 2020.  This was cancelled due to Covid but we still want to raise some cash for Trinity Hospice and Brian House, a very worthy cause. 

So, we then planned to do a mega-marathon mahoosive bike ride on Saturday 10th October, but for medical reasons, we've had to move it again! 

So, on Saturday 24th October we'll be clocking up a grand total of 300 miles between the 4 of us - one of the group backed out at the last minute, so Terry stepped in - we were all very grateful! 

It's- a challenging target, but one we can achieve.  Looks like two of us will be doing 100 miles each, and the other two will do 50. We'll likely head out to Fleetwood and back initially, and then after a few burgers and milkshakes, and maybe a glass of wine, two of us will cover some of the country lanes between home and Blackpool before finally achieving the big 300 and collapsing with more wine, and possibly a kebab/pot-noodle combo surprise. With chips. 

Gulp! 

So all that's left to say is.... if you can afford to throw some money in our direction as a reward for us doing this foolish thing, it will go to a great cause!
